Effective date: 21 July 2026
These Terms of Service apply when a customer uses the Shanthi Computer Centre website, contacts us through WhatsApp, email or telephone, or requests any service from us.
By requesting a service, the customer agrees to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Shanthi Computer Centre provides assisted citizen, telecom, document and digital services through applicable authorised channels.
Services may include Karnataka One services, Aadhaar demographic update services, BSNL Bharat Fiber services, PAN application services, passport application assistance, document preparation and other permitted digital services.
The availability and method of providing each service may change according to the rules of the relevant authority or service provider.
Shanthi Computer Centre is an independent service centre and not a government department.
Government departments, service providers and platform operators control their own eligibility requirements, official fees, approval decisions, processing times and service availability. References to their names or services do not imply ownership or endorsement beyond an applicable authorised service arrangement.
Customers must:
• Provide complete, current and accurate information
• Provide genuine and valid supporting documents
• Review application details before approving submission
• Pay applicable official fees and service charges
• Attend appointments or complete verification when required
• Follow the rules of the relevant authority or service provider
• Inform us promptly if submitted information is incorrect or changes
Customers are responsible for consequences caused by false, incomplete, expired or inaccurate information supplied by them.
Documents are collected only where reasonably required for the requested service.
Customers should not send passwords, card PINs, CVVs, account passwords or unnecessary identity documents through WhatsApp, email or this website.
Where an OTP or personal authentication is required, the customer should enter or confirm it personally through the authorised process. Customers should not disclose private credentials to unauthorised persons.
Before proceeding, we may inform the customer about applicable service charges and known official or third-party fees.
Official fees, government charges, telecom charges and service-provider charges are determined by the respective authority or provider and may change without notice.
Customers should request a receipt or payment confirmation for amounts paid to Shanthi Computer Centre.
A customer may request cancellation before an application or transaction is submitted to the relevant authority or provider.
If work has not started, an eligible service charge may be refunded. If work has already been completed, a reasonable charge may be retained for the work performed.
Government fees, provider fees and other third-party charges may become non-refundable after submission or payment. Any refund of those charges is governed by the respective authority or provider.
Nothing in this section limits any refund or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
Any processing time communicated by us is an estimate unless the relevant authority or provider gives a guaranteed period.
Shanthi Computer Centre cannot guarantee approval, issuance, activation, delivery or completion of an application because final decisions are made by the relevant authority or provider.
We will provide reasonable assistance in checking status or correcting an issue where the applicable process permits it.
Customers may receive service-related communications through WhatsApp, telephone, SMS or email when they provide their contact information and request a service.
Marketing communications will be sent only where permitted. Customers may reply STOP through WhatsApp or contact us to stop promotional messages.
Stopping promotional messages does not prevent necessary communications concerning an active service, payment, security issue or legal obligation.
Our collection and use of personal information are explained in our Privacy Policy. Customers should review the Privacy Policy before providing documents or personal information.
Our services may use or link to government portals, authorised service platforms, Meta, WhatsApp, Google or other third-party systems.
Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Shanthi Computer Centre is not responsible for an interruption, rule change or decision made solely by a third-party system or authority.
Customers must not use our services to:
• Submit false, forged or misleading information
• Impersonate another person
• Commit fraud or another unlawful act
• Access another person’s account without authority
• Send malicious software, abusive content or spam
• Violate the rights of another person or organisation
We may refuse or stop a request that appears unlawful, fraudulent, unsafe or outside our authorisation.
Services may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, internet failure, portal downtime, changes in authorisation, government restrictions or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Where possible, we will inform affected customers and provide reasonable assistance.
We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill.
To the extent permitted by law, Shanthi Computer Centre is not responsible for delays, rejection or loss caused solely by inaccurate customer information, third-party systems, government decisions or events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms removes or restricts rights available to customers under applicable Indian consumer law.
Names, logos and trademarks belonging to government departments, Meta, WhatsApp, Google, Karnataka One, CSC, UIDAI, BSNL, Protean and other providers remain the property of their respective owners.
No customer may copy or misuse material from this website or falsely represent an affiliation with Shanthi Computer Centre.
Customers should first contact us with their name, contact number, service reference and a clear explanation of the concern. Do not include passwords, OTPs or unnecessary identity documents.
We will review the complaint and attempt to provide a reasonable response. Customers retain their right to approach an appropriate consumer forum or authority where applicable.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes may be handled by courts, consumer forums or other authorities having lawful jurisdiction in Karnataka, subject to applicable law.
We may update these Terms when our services, provider requirements or legal obligations change. The latest version and effective date will be published on this page.
